I have started my next book, “The World’s Greatest Secret.” . I believe in this next book being one of the tools God will use in the end times to draw His people to Himself. This book will detail revelations of the Secret Place, which I have experienced first-hand in my life confirmed through His Word. If you would like to donate to the cause of this project, “The World’s Greatest Secret,” you can do so by clicking the donate button below. Thank you for your support and consideration.
Thank you and God bless!
First of all, Christians need to be honest with themselves. If they haven’t as much believed God in getting rid of a “cold”, they should not expect to be healed of cancer. This doesn’t mean they can’t come to that point of faith, but what they must realize is the capacity they’ve developed is all the capacity they have to believe for. This may sound like heresy, but you do realize that faith is absolutely essential. Our capacity of faith is increased as we trust and believe in God in small and great matters. As we believe in Him for the small things, we will start believing in Him for the bigger things.
#1 Faith makes healing possible because a human being “accepts” that God can heal.
#2 When a person “accepts” that as truth, they will inevitably believe God can heal them. When they know God can heal them, they will be healed.
Conditions (must be met): God moves based on faith. You can even be an unbeliever, but if you believe God can heal you and accept that, you will be healed. Why? Because man has a free-will. MAN HAS A CHOICE. God cannot take that choice away. If God healed you without you accepting He can heal you and trusting Him to heal you, He would be taking away your FREE CHOICE. You must CHOOSE to accept and believe He can heal you. Otherwise, He would be a liar to invade our free-will by exercising His authority over us.
Now think about it, to really know something means you actually believe it. Many, many Christians have not made this a stronghold in their life, that God can and does heal, and because of that, as sincere and compassionate a Christian you are, God cannot heal you. Why? Doesn’t sound fair? What kind of God is that?
Those are all wrong questions to ask. How long can we remain to be so naïve? Has God not said, “I have given you the authority to cast out demons, heal the sick and preach the Good News.” Now wait a minute, if He gave us the ‘authority,’ what more remains? It remains our duty and accountability to use this authority for our healing. In a sense, “God is no longer in control” but we are His ambassadors. A diplomat that is sent from his home country does not keep telephoning back home to get resources, a car for transportation, hotel tickets, or intel. A diplomat has been prepared from home and has all that he needs to properly represent his home country. Christians are the ambassadors of the Kingdom of God. We have all that we need, equipped to represent Christ, in power and authority. We have the authority to heal!
To speak frankly, I must say a few things. Christians must use wisdom when it comes to seeking medical attention in emergencies. A great man of God himself once said, “If there would be no doctors, all the Christians would be dead by now.” Though humorous, I agree with that statement. God has blessed human kind to understand the biology of the body and quite frankly, because many do not believe in the power of God to be healed, they must seek medical attention. What good are you to yourself or God if you are dead and gone from this earth. You will no longer be able to serve your purpose as God has destined.
No one can really answer that question with a set protocol on what to do because you alone know your capacity to believe in God and ability to discern His voice. I say discernment because I honestly believe God will, at times, call you to go to the hospital or seek professional help. Now what am I exactly saying here? Don’t get me wrong, I tell people to hope in the perfection of God more than anything else! I tell them that though their children might not be saved- in God’s perfect will… they would be saved. Though they die from disease- in God’s perfect will… they wouldn’t die from disease. Having said that, God foresees your capacity and ability to believe in Him. This is where one must use wisdom in His ability to discern God’s voice and understanding his own relationship with God. If the individual doesn’t know the difference between God’s voice and his empty stomach, then I would seriously advise that individual to seek medical attention when need be. People simply have to realize “what they sow, they will reap.” If they spend their time doing whatever pleases them, living however they please, breaking their promises, and just carrying on with life in any manner, they will reap exactly that!
On the other hand, an individual who sows into trusting God day-by-day will reap that in many folds. Days will come when “hell breaks loose” for whatever reason in his life, but his trust in God will sustain him, because he didn’t spend his time foolishly but he spent his time seeking God, loving God, developing that capacity to believe and hear God’s voice. When tragedy strikes, that person will clearly be able to hear God speak to Him,
“Be still for I am with you… This is what you must do… This is what is happening… I will carry you… I’ve got you… Fear not for I am with you…”
In other words, this individual will know what is going on and he will know what to do. As one minister once told me, “God is clear. He doesn’t try to confuse us. He speaks clearly.”
Dedicated to my aunt Angela, full of wisdom
Dedicated to my sister Christina in her ever-pursuit of sharing Christ
In the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to share the Gospel with my neighbors and other closely-related people in my life. I have found it almost frustrating to persuade people into salvation to the point of asking God to give me the mind and perspective of the unbeliever so that I may be better equipped to share the message of the Gospel.
As I observed my own efforts and others’ around me trying to save the lost, the Holy Spirit gave me a fresh outlook and revelation on this topic. The following is a conversation between the Holy Spirit and myself:
How do we save people? It seems to be so difficult to persuade someone into trusting the Lord Jesus. There are two things I noticed in contemplation of all this. The first thing to note is that most of the time, an individual turns to the Lord when they are broken, either through a tragedy, loss, or hopelessness. When one is broken, they become aware of their ‘sorry’ state. They realize that something is missing. Hopelessness brings one realization of the reality of their corrupt state- being dead in spirit.
Therefore, a realization, or revelation, has to occur for one to see any need to repent and surrender. If they are #1 Not aware of their corrupt state, they cannot see the need for salvation. If a country is at war, both sides have the option of surrender. But a country at peace has no need to surrender. Thus, it is with salvation. Until one gets a revelation that they are, in fact, sinners in need of saving, they will have no true repentance nor are they able to repent.
The second point, or #2 Recognition of sin goes hand-in-hand with recognition of grace. Grace is the realization that there is a God who loves us. This is radical news to anyone. Therefore, when realization comes, there is no if-and-or-but, a person will immediately surrender and repent. Grace overlooks one’s addictions and in-turn says, “I accept you exactly the way you are”!
But often times, it takes a loss or tragedy for a man to find God, or more like, realize God. One may ask, “Where then is God when we are not lost or hurt”? The reality is that God is always present, but He cannot be recognized entirely to the point of surrender unless we receive that revelation.
Having said that, God is always at work within you, but A) Our flexibility with Him is respected by Him and B) He does all He can with what we give Him to work with. If we limit Him so much, what do we expect to happen? But faith will usher in the reality of His work. Faith will bring truth into manifestation.
Salvation is never achieved through indifference. One must get a revelation of their need for salvation. Realization and revelation will bring one to a position of surrender. Therefore, our job is not to save or convince people to claim salvation, because neither Christians nor Non-Christians own the rights to salvation. Salvation belongs to the Lord (Psalm 3:8). Only He can claim someone to it. Since the Lord is our salvation (Psalm 27:1), a revelation of the Lord is needed. That revelation is given from God. And it is only He who can save the lost.
The question becomes, “Who then can be saved”? God wills that none perish, but all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The progress begins with us, allowing the Lord to direct us to those individuals He wants us to minister to. We should follow this pattern: Speak, Pray, and Watch!
The steps of this pattern can be taken interchangeably. The steps are adjustable to the Lord’s direction. Speaking God’s Word and the truth of Jesus Christ should be our life story wherever we go, representing Christ and not allowing any man to tempt us with religion (The Standard Christian Epidemic). Praying should be a lifestyle for us believers, as it is the means by which the spiritual realm runs by. Watching is the concept of listening and obeying the Lord’s direction. Watching is also the prophetic realm. We are to be sensitive to His voice and direction through discernment and wisdom.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. (Ephesians 2:8).
Recently, I have been discovering the reality of that verse, “you reap what you sow.” God pushes us to excel when we are excelling because there will be days we let our guard down, and at those moments (does not mean you are not a good Christian) what will sustain you is the trust you’ve been putting in God. God does say, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” but my friend, how many times did you press that snooze button in the morning? Your alarm will always be there, but it does nothing for you, when it is put to sleep.
A time is coming when the anointing you have or don’t have will be needed for your sustainability.
At the Jesus Culture Conference New York, Kim Walker stated, “I had to fight for this fellowship. It wasn’t always easy for me to go in and out of worship freely. I had to seek after God. I had to spend time on my knees, when I didn’t sense Him but because of that, my awareness of His presence has increased and that enables me to have that communication with Him.”
God knows what’s real. He knows when you’re being honest and real with Him. If you are not, then you yourself are not taking yourself seriously or God. God has no response to such passiveness. Kent Mattox wrote in his book, “No High Like the Most High,” that it is in those moments when we are truly broken and genuine, that He answers us.
In “The Standard Christian Epidemic,”I write, “Seeking Him wholeheartedly is seeking him until you find Him.”
We will reap what we sow. If we spend our days meddling in our own affairs, that’s just what we’ll get. We are raised with this hope, that God is always there, so whenever you need Him, just go to Him, He will make you feel safe and at peace. My friends, how hypocritical that is, yet I know for a fact we all think like that, because first of all it’s the truth, but it does not mean that’s the lifestyle God called us to because it contradicts the life of an ever-increasing relationship with Him, which is His perfect will.
Here’s why this principle of sowing and reaping is so crucial: those days when you are down or at your lowest, FOR WHATEVER REASON, you will have no anointing to draw from. You will need to cry for help, because you have no sense of His presence. If you are truly broken and humble, have no doubt, God will come, because He honors real talk. But, that is no way to live, because even though God will come again and again for this present time, you will be miserable.
It’s the same as flunking the whole semester, and then when it comes to the midterm or final, you have to stay up for hours cramming the information and studying it. Yes, it works, and it worked for me in high school and college. But do you know how miserable I was when it came time for those exams. I was miserable all those hours before the exam and during the exam, filled with anxiety and stress beyond normal levels. Of course, once it was over, it was over, I went back to senioritis freshmen year in high school.
It is likewise with God. We will reap exactly what we sow. God will not be mocked. You cannot fool God. You cannot fool anyone when it comes to real talk. This is reality my friends. This is life.
I wonder if anyone in here had the same thought growing up as I did after I read the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Every time my grandpa gave me watermelon seeds, the biggest hope in my heart was that I would come outside and somehow find something I didn’t expect and I would be a million dollars richer! This anticipation made me go out there the day after I had planted those watermelon seeds to see if anything had grown. We have this anticipation and desire for something great and that something wonderful will eventually come of our lives, but I have a very stern challenge for all of us, you will reap exactly what you sow!
A couple weeks after I planted those watermelon seeds, I found those little melons and I enjoyed seeing them, but I was not the least bit surprised, because in my heart, I knew those were just simple watermelon seeds.
Our hearts know the condition they are in. Our hearts know the foolish imagination we put in front of ourselves, those foolish lies we think we want to believe. Our hearts know that Jesus Christ is the truth. Yet we choose to live without making any serious effort to make a decision that will bring separation from not only the world, but other Christians.
We reap what we sow. You are building a legacy in your life. Every day is another brick to your legacy. We are building something, but what a huge difference the material makes!
Though God forgives our sin, when we do sin, and don’t turn away from it, by making that decision and trusting Him to walk us through it, we build a stronghold in our lives, giving that sin power over us. Believe me, anything you sow, will die, because the strong man always wins. If sin goes unaddressed in your life, it will be your strong man.
Now, when we do sin but address it, that sin leaves no residue to God, but it leaves a residue to your soul. Those days when you are empty, everything you sowed previously will begin to hover over you. Now, two things you must understand, our past does not rule us nor does it have power over us, but the second thing is, that thing even when conquered, will make an attempt at your life once again. Hell does not sleep. Hell does not care that you overcame by the blood of Jesus, it will still come after you. Though the gates of hell shall not prevail against you, they surely try!
That being said, we must understand what we sow into our lives, we give room and opportunity to. Therefore, my exhortation is this; renew each day with the Word and fellowship with the Father, making a decision to trust Him. As we do this, we will be victorious. But nevertheless, you will reap what you sow.
In my personal life, when I have days that I feel empty or void, honestly it’s only because we live in a fallen state, body and soul not fully redeemed yet, so don’t think we have to be this way, NO… but that’s why we need to sow the Word of God into our lives, so that we can realize our spiritual identity, and reap our spirit because it is our spirit that redeems our soul.
Whether you fulfill God’s will in your life or not, the Secret Place will remain to be a mystery. But partnership with Him will lead to a beautiful and extraordinary life.
The following is an introduction to my new ‘work in progress’, “The World’s Greatest Secret.” It is scheduled to publish by end of 2013.
Where is that Secret Place man can tap into and discover realities unknown to man? Is it possible to obtain such divine wisdom and strategy? Is there a place in man that has all the answers?
I once told an atheist man that God loved Him. He looked at me blankly, and he stated defensively that He only believed in what he could see and experience. Without losing a beat, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, saying, “Flesh is flesh and Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6-8). The mystery this man didn’t understand was that only those reborn of the Spirit could comprehend spiritual things. This man could not rely on his own understanding, because flesh understands only the things of the flesh. This is why God teaches us to trust Him by faith.
It is in silence that man finds God and God finds man. It is our spirits that redeem our souls, because that’s where the Holy Spirit resides. However, the Spirit cannot work within you if you live carnally minded. If you feed the flesh, you will starve the spirit. But if you feed the spirit, you will starve the flesh. Spiritual truth tends to be hard to understand, because only the spirit can discern spiritual truth. If we want to be changed, we must come to God by way of our spirits. As we open our hearts to Him, our souls are exposed and He is able to come in and touch us. He comes in and heals every wound. He exposes every thought of unbelief. He takes captive what does not belong in our hearts. This is the work of the Holy Spirit.
This secret place, in the very presence of God, is what allows you to acquire spiritual position. You are already seated with Christ in spirit (Ephesians 2:6), but it will not be activated until you draw from it. It will be from this Place that you acquire divine wisdom and knowledge. It will be from this Place that you learn to hear and do as God wills. As you come to know the will of God, you will gain that intimate knowledge that can only come from soaking in His presence in the Secret Place.
Whether you fulfill God’s will in your life or not, the Secret Place will remain to be a mystery. No one in the flesh can see the Spirit of God, yet He works and does for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Those who join Him will perform extraordinary deeds that only God can be the author of. This partnership will lead to a beautiful and extraordinary life, abundant in joy and peace, proving the perfect will of God.
We can only activate that spiritual stature when we seek Him wholeheartedly. We discover Him in the Secret Place, in that deep, mysterious part of us that truly is the world’s greatest secret…
A promise of God to His people is that if you teach your children the ways of God, they will not depart from it in the end. I often hear Christians say, “You do the best you can and hope for the best!”
This is not God’s direction. God states the obvious in His Word, “If you train up your son or daughter in who I AM, they will not forget it!”
This promise started making more sense to me as the Holy Spirit constantly reiterated it in my heart. I began to realize, “Truly, if we can’t be assured that our children will be saved, what can we be assured of”? Children are the fruit of everything we are. They are our multiplication. Do you think God’s perfect plan doesn’t involve your children being saved? Of course, it does! But why do we doubt this so easily? It’s because we don’t see God’s perfect plans come to pass in our lives, yet they are His perfect plans, which have the potential to be fulfilled. Therefore, there is no argument here, about the truth of this promise. The one argument that may stand is the question of your obedience to God’s Word, which will affect God’s promises in your life.
Be rest assured, if you teach your child to know and love God, through the message of His Word, they will grow up knowing and loving God!
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
I am not saying that He will not speak to you anymore, but there is no point! If you don’t believe what God has already spoken (which will set you free) what good are other words to you from God’s mouth? If you don’t make a heart decision to just believe what you read in the Bible and move forward with it, how will you believe if God speaks something else to you concerning what to do next in your job, ministry, or family? What’s the point I ask again, If you don’t believe what has been spoken and holds true, but cannot manifest because you don’t make a decision by faith to believe.
Believe then understand, don’t try to understand and then believe. It will not work. God is invisible to the physical eye. The Word of God is Spirit. Spirit can only be accessed by faith which is renewing the mind by believing the Word of God by faith.
Give faith a chance. Have you found anything else that works in this life? I don’t need to wait for your answer, I can just look since the dawn of man, and I find no other answer to life than faith in God. The greatest phenomenon in the world is the ignorance of the reality of God.
Do you want to be led by the voice of God continually/daily? Well then, start with the Word which has already been spoken. His mouth has been open since the beginning speaking us into existence. His mouth has not closed. He is still speaking today. But how can you expect to hear His voice if you don’t take the first step in believing what He has already spoken?
What will I liken the voice of God to? Imagine a friend of yours that always encourages you. He picks you up every time He encounters you. After every encounter, you feel satisfied and complete. However, as soon as you leave your Friend’s presence, you are met by all the others in your life, whom tell you the opposite. Every time you fall, they remind you what a failure you are. They keep you in check and speak hurtful things regarding your life. They speak much defeat to you. You listen to their words and don’t make any decision to ignore them. Their words pierce to your heart and leave you depressed and hurt, wondering why things are the way they are.
The next day you see this Friend who receives you with a big smile and hug that moves you to tears. You tell Him what all your other “friends” said, you lay it all out for him. He listens attentively with eyes full of compassion and tears. You start thinking to yourself, ‘Even this Friend understands life is not fair and feels sorry for me,’ and you sigh, wondering how you will ever make it. This Friend lifts your head up and says, “Friend, I cry because you didn’t believe what I told you. What I spoke to you is truth and lives inside you. What your friends spoke is what they see out of their ignorance. Nothing has changed. What I spoke to you is still true.” Now the friend realizes that if he would to ever overcome all that is said by other people, he would have to continue to believe everything this Friend told him.
God’s words never changed for you. He still knows you’re beautiful. He knows what he made you to be. He knows that if you will only hold His words true to your heart, then you will overcome everything that comes against you. There is nothing anyone can say that will hurt you if you anchor yourself in the Word of God. This is a spiritual transformation. Don’t try to understand how it’s possible to not be offended by people, because humanly it’s impossible. It is the spirit that needs to dominate your flesh, at which point, you will become supernaturally free. Believe the Word of God for your life and you will start hearing him personally every day.
Who else will we go to, you have the words of eternal life (John 6:68). Let God be God; Let Him make your life beautiful. Without Him, you will only make a mess.
May you have enough to abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
It is very simple. Under scripture, prosperity is defined as having enough not only to tithe, but to support a ministry, sponsor a child, give to Godly charities, and so on. “Every good work,” is anything that has to do with the expansion of the Kingdom.
When your priority with finances is to expand the Kingdom of God, get ready to handle a lot of money. God is seeking stewards He can trust. How do you suppose God channels money to His servants? By His people. Did you assume God created the US currency out of thin air? Can He? Of course He can but God is bound by his own Word. He is not a liar, therefore He will not counterfeit the US currency. Furthermore, He is limited to man’s obedience. He needs us to fulfill His purposes! If you cannot agree with this, then why are you still alive? Do you live merely for your own pleasure? We were made for His pleasure. In Him, we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). We are called His servants, because we have been given a purpose to spread His kingdom! (Matthew 28:16)
God wants you wealthy because He wants to use you as a channel of finances towards His work. We are His stewards. God will use other people and open doors for you to receive money. The more money you receive, the more will be used for Kingdom work. The underlying question is, “Do you care for the Kingdom of God?”
The Bible speaks heavily on being a “giver” and to be “generous” in all our ways. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” One of the reasons is because the “giver” always has more than the “receiver” (Acts 20:35). Once you learn to give, you will never be concerned about “receiving.” He desires us to imitate Him and Oh how rich He is! He lavishes His gifts upon us! We will never surpass His generosity, but we are to pursue His nature! He is a giver who always has enough. He wants His children to learn how, “Daddy does it!”
Many claim it is selfish to be rich. Is it selfish to feed the poor and clothe the needy? Is it selfish to help those in need?
Think about it, if you had wealth, how much more people can you bless! The question again is, “Can He trust you with the wealth?” Only you know the answer to that. He is your just Judge; He knows the intents and motives of your heart.
If your heart is set on God’s Kingdom and on the priority to give to His work, you will always have enough for yourself. God will use you as a channel and there will be more than enough to meet your needs and desires. He doesn’t demand your lack, but His priority is His Kingdom! You are a part of that Kingdom! He commissions you to extend the grace and love that was so freely given you.
Learn to give and you will learn to be rich. But as soon as you turn your hand back from giving, you are going against God’s principles. His love and mercy is not contingent upon your generosity, but your generosity is contingent upon your heart. What you do in your life is a direct result of what lives inside of you. If generous, love reigns.
Think of yourself as a channel and steward. You are the middle man between God and His work on earth. Those who stay away from money and are content with what they have, are right in being content, but you should seek more wealth for the primary reason of giving to the work of God.
Do you see “selfishness” in that?
